Week Fourteen
This semester has been a challenging one to say the least.
With daily life of being a full-time out of the house working Mom, a wife,
pregnant, etc., there has just been a lot that has made being a full-time
student even more difficult.
But I feel like I have finished the semester strong and have
taken away a lot of knowledge that I didn’t have before the semester started. I
really liked “Finishers
Wanted” by President Thomas S. Monson. I would share this talk with just
about anyone. I liked this talk because it can speak to everyone. Whether you
are finishing school, finishing a project at work, or just need to finish your
day. We can all take lessons from his talk.
Life is difficult and has challenges, however, we are strong.
Sometimes we don’t realize our own strength until it is being called upon for
us to use it. Find your passion and why you want to enter into the entrepreneur
world. What makes you want to open your own business and what are your values?
Once you have found those, stick with them and let your passion work.
I have started a Virtual Assistant business and cores for
opening my own business regard my family. My family is so important to me. I
want to be able to work from home and still bring in an income to help my
family out. I want to be home with my children so that I can teach and nurture
them. Finding my cores and values for my business was the easy part. But making
my dreams come true has tended to be more difficult. Only because I tend not to
“leap” at opportunities. Sometimes opportunities pass me by before I can even
tell that it was an opportunity to leap onto. This is something that I am
working on personally and I would advise others to “leap” at opportunities as
they come to you.
