The Reason Behind the Why

Ever since I was a child, I knew two things I wanted for my life. First, to be a Mom and second to be a stay-at-home Mom. Little did I know that the world was so expensive and the chances of living off one income would be nearly impossible. 

As the years have gone by, full-time work, full-time student, and full-time parenthood have set in. It wasn't until a little over a year ago I was chatting with my niece about the dream of being a stay-at-home Mom and what she was doing in her preparations for parenthood. She had mentioned to me that freelancing is really a great way to go. Be your own boss, set your own hours, and do what you love for work. While doing all of this from the comfort of your couch, in PJs, and with kiddos. To be frank, it sounded too good to be true. 

I took a handful of lessons from my husband and decided to perform some research. I looked into the program my niece told me about, I checked validity, how much you could be making, what services I could offer, etc. After chatting with my husband we decided that there is no harm in trying it out. Little did we know our entire world was going to change!

Currently, I sit in my PJs, work on projects for a handful of clients that I have, and literally work around my family. I'm able to be home with our girls and bring in a little more income. It started off as a dream, but with hard work and dedication, that dream has become more and more of a reality!
